  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Identify/implement appropriate means within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Research and work with Practice leadership to build relationships with new clients. Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team to develop [and continuously update] proposals/collaterals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. Ability to use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately, as needed
  • Present to and consult with leadership on business trends with a view to developing new services & assests. Identify and drive opportunities for campaigns, PoC based drives, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs. Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team
  • Track and record activities to meet these targets. Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff (as needed)
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
  • Should be willing to travel and work in the US working hours

Position Description :

  • Job involves identifying, planning & driving activities for new leads acquisition & farming existing accounts
  • Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, work closely with the leadership to market and achieve sales for linear as well as non-linear growth models
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients and develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company
  • Build good understanding of Practice's strengths and knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the Practice & Company can provide
  • Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Must have an ability to work with closely with management and technical staff. May require to manage activities of others responsible for developing business
